We realise that sometimes waiting till the next day for a technician to visit simply isn't good enough so we've developed a tool that allows us to access your computer and correct many common problems over the internet. There are obviously some faults that can't be fixed this way, for example if your computer won't boot or can't access the internet but most of the time we can use this tool to fix your problem almost immediately.

- What operating systems can remote support be used on?
Our remote support tool works on all versions of windows from Windows XP up to Windows 7. It can also be used on Windows Server machines from Server 2000 onwards. We have a different solution for Apple Mac's - please let us know when you call if you are using a Mac.
- Do I need administrator rights to run the remote support tool?
Yes, you do need to have administrator rights to run the remote support tool.
- When I am finished using the remote support tool can you still access my computer?
No. Once you close the remote support tool we cannot access your computer again unless you re-run the tool. The remote support tool does not install any software on your computer and is designed so that it will only allow our technicians to use it.
- I can't download the tool on the problem PC, can I download it elsewhere and run it from a memory stick?
Yes, you can run the support tool from a memory stick but please remember the PC requiring support must be able to connect to the internet for the tool to work.
